OCTOBER - Halloween

Of course, Molly was a doggie this year for Halloween.  Molly absolutely loves dogs, so it was an easy choice.   We celebrated Halloween first with her cousins at the Flatirons Church Fall Festival.   We also went trick-or-treating on Halloween with her buddy, Owen.

These are from the fall festival at Zack's church.  There were a ton of people there.  Molly did really well even though we were there well past her bedtime.  She was not the biggest fan of her hat, but man did she look cute in it!

With her cousin, Smith, who dressed up as a pirate

Zane was FrankenManning

Josie and Zack - Zack was George Bush Sr (mask is pulled up) and Josie was a fairy with a lot of her middle school girls that she works with.

Molly sure loves her Aunt Jos!

She had her very first sucker and was a huge fan - as you might imagine, she was a big sticky mess after completing it.

I was lame and didn't dress up.  This is us waiting in line to ride the train

With the cousins

Halloween managed to sneak up on us, so we never got around to carving pumpkins....instead Molly drew on her own pumpkin with a marker.

Giving her pumpkin a kiss

Trick or treating.  She didn't really get the concept of candy, but was able to say "tit or teet" a few times.  She just loved walking up to houses and carrying her pumpkin.  Seriously, have you ever seen a cuter little puppy?!

Blurry because they were on the move.  Trick or treating with Owen, the monster.

Vail week

This is the week in which the chief OB/GYN class spends a week in vail for a conference and skiing.  As I am not much of a skier, I am using this time to catch up on pictures of our big girl.   Molly and Ben came and stayed with us for 3 nights in this amazing home we rented for the week.  It was a blast to spend some time with them in the beautiful Colorado mountains!  It's also been nice to celebrate nearing the end of residency with my class.
My wonderful residency class celebrating "college night" (one of several theme nights).  I love how Molly is front and center.  Grateful the the years I got to spend with these terrific doctors.  (Also glad these years are coming to an end soon!)
Two of my fellow residents also have little girls.  Molly loves playing with her new friends, Ava and Abby.

Showing Manny her dance moves

This picture pretty much sums up what an amazing sleeper my girl is.  There was an ample amount of celebrating in the evenings and Molly slept so great through laughter and music and dancing and more.  We had a great time!

The conference is scheduled strategically to allow for skiing all afternoon.  This gave me mornings with Molly and Ben to explore Vail.

I love this cute grin!

She loved all of the statues.  She ran up to them and said hi again and again.

Practicing her driving skills....Ben couldn't help but buy her a cute bunny hat in town
We also took her sledding in Avon.  We found a golf course with a few small hills and she had a blast!  She was screaming and laughing the whole time.  She also loved just hanging out while we pulled her along the path.   It was such a fun day!   I had a hard time picking my favorite pictures because she is so happy in so many of them, so I just posted a ton of them :)

Molly also made her very first snow angel.

She was a little unsure at first...

But started to get the hang of it when I joined her...
